Private Equity Group is a diversified investment group focused on four key areas: Real Estate - large tracts of land, finished lots, existing inventory, and portfolios of commercial and residential assets; Operating Businesses - existing operations with strong management teams; Construction - vertical construction, land development, leasing, redevelopment, and management of income-producing buildings; and Asset Management - liquid vehicles such as mutual funds, other publicly traded equities, government-backed certificates and time deposits. For operating company acquisitions, net profit margins of target companies must be in excess of 12% within a targeted industry, offering opportunity for expansion and consolidation. Private Equity Group does not invest in startups, nor does it expand acquired businesses by introducing products or services that have not demonstrated solid market demand. The firm has completed more than $2 billion in transactional business.
