Luciano Pantuso

Founding partner and head of the PE&VC practice at Venerdì Investments, an independent asset management company incorporated in Rio de Janeiro in 2011. Regional manager for VC funds Criatec I and II, whose investments are intensive on technology-based startup companies and in which he acts as member of the board. Chartered Fund Manager (CVM - Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission) and Certified Public Accountant (CRC), holds an MBA from Oxford Brookes University and works towards his LL.M. in Corporate Law and Financial Markets at Ibmec Business School. Currently focuses his studies on corporate governance and corporate ownership models. Has attended the IBGC (Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance) training for board members. Prior to joining the investment industry, acted as finance director for oil & gas and entertainment industries, for both local groups and internationally listed (NYSE and LSE) companies. Took part on various M&A and due diligence assignments, both on buy and sell sides. Actively participated on debt restructuring under US rule 144A. Started his career as external auditor.
