John R McCarthy

Northeastern University, founded in 1898 and based in Boston, is a private research university with a total enrollment of about 20,000 students. The school manages a $520 million endowment and dedicates 32% ($165 million) to hedge funds and 25% ($135 million) to private equity/real assets. The university does not employ an internal investment staff and instead relies heavily on the advice of its consultant, Cambridge Associates.
