Jay Jacobson

Jay was President and Managing Director for Context Asset Management where he was responsible for launching and building their alternative investment platform. Prior to forming Context, he worked in various capacities including CEO and Portfolio Manager for Thomas Weisel Asset Management and Crossover Venture Partners. Jay was also a Co-Portfolio Manager for internal venture capital portfolios with Thomas Weisel Partners, Dain Rauscher and Wessels Arnold and Henderson. Jay began his career with three growth-oriented investment banks as Founding Partner, Head of Sales and Syndicate for Wessels Arnold and Henderson, Dain Rauscher Wessels and Thomas Weisel Partners.
