Gordy Davidson advises high-technology, clean technology and life sciences companies, with clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 1000 companies. He has worked on more than 50 public offerings and has represented boards of directors, audit committees and executives in numerous special investigations. He lectures on venture capital investments at the Stanford Law School, the Stanford Business School and the Haas Business School, teaches courses on Deals and Mergers & Acquisitions at Stanford Law School and serves on the board of directors of BayBio.
Gordy graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford University with an electrical engineering degree and earned a master's degree in computer systems from Stanford. He graduated from Stanford Law School in 1974 and was a member of the Order of the Coif. Gordy has been recognized as one of the 100 Most Influential Lawyers in America by the National Law Journal, Corporate Lawyer of the Year for the Silicon Valley by Best Lawyers and Securities Lawyer of the Year for the San Francisco Area by Best Lawyers.
