Gerri Elliott serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Cisco Syste Gerri Elliott served as Board Member at Bed Bath & Beyond. In this role, she led a global organization of more than 3,500 professionals that includes marketing, direct and indirect sales, systems engineering, advanced technologies, channel partners and alliances, field operations, and customer service and support. She joined Juniper in 2009 to oversee all of Juniper's strategic partnerships worldwide. In 2011, she was named EVP and Chief Sales Officer, leading Juniper's global sales force and partner organizations. In 2012, she added leadership of the services and support functions to her responsibilities, and in 2013, field and corporate marketing teams were added to her organization. Prior to Juniper, Elliott was at Microsoft, where as Corporate Vice President of the Worldwide Public Sector organization she led a team of more than 2,000 sales and marketing professionals. She was also co-head of the company's North American subsidiary, where she developed and implemented a global strategy to establish Microsoft's first industry vertical sales sectors. Prior to Microsoft, Elliott spent 22 years at IBM both in the U.S. and abroad. She held key executive and management positions in strategy development, services and consulting, product management, and sales field and headquarters leadership. Elliott holds a bachelor's degree in international politics from New York University. She serves on the advisory boards for the Center for Executive Women Senior Leadership Program at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, and Catalyst, a research organization expanding opportunities for women in business.
