Fearghal is a partner at SEP and focuses on software, communications and semiconductors. His investments include: Powervation, the Limerick based power management chip company; Clavis Technology, the Dublin based data quality governance software company; and Tideway, the London based infrastructure mapping solutions company. Before joining SEP, Fearghal spent five years at Accel Partners where he was a founding principal and a partner of the European firm. At his previous firm, Fearghal led investments that included data storage software vendor, Diligent Technologies, recently acquired by IBM.
Previously, Fearghal was with Ericsson where he was responsible for the development of software and hardware systems on a range of wireless platforms for various international markets. Earlier in his career, he spent several years in the energy sector, primarily working on the development of large-scale energy production facilities. He also worked with the investment banking practice at Goldman Sachs in London.
