State University of New York at Buffalo, commonly known as the University of Buffalo, is a public research university which has multiple campuses located in Buffalo and Amherst, New York, USA.� The University at Buffalo Foundation, Inc. was established in 1962 by the Regents of the State of New York as a non-profit educational corporation, and manages the endowment of the university.� The endowment is currently valued at approximately $520 million, and has 21% of assets allocated to hedge funds and funds of hedge funds, 9.3% allocated to private equity funds, and 5.9% allocated to real assets.
