Carlton Crothers

EmergeMemphis is a general business and technology-based incubator that seeks to recruit new companies and talent, diversify the local economy, create a higher wage base, attract capital from outside, springboard high technology education programs, and provide entrepreneurial educational opportunities. EmergeMemphis was founded in 1999 by local entrepreneur Bryan M. Eagle III, and is a non-profit organization (501(c)3). The incubator currently houses more than 26 businesses. The standard tenure in the EmergeMemphis program is three to four years. EmergeMemphis is not a landlord, but rather a partner to help a business overcome obstacles and build a strong financial foundation.
