The firm invests across a variety of industry sectors including consumer products, energy & chemical, finance services, fine arts, general industrial, healthcare, commercial real estate, hotel real estate, retail, services, sports and technology. The firm has no geographical focus; principals who have been active in all parts of the United States as well as Canada, Europe, Latin American, the Middle East and South Africa; and especially strong relationships in the United Kingdom. Ampton presently administers a number of private holding companies. Its principals have served as directors of numerous public and private companies and trusts.
