Bjorn Persson

Bjorn Persson is the Fund Manager of ALMI Invest Östra Mellansverige, ALMI Invest Stockholm and ALMI Invest Norra Mellansverige. Björn focuses on Stockholm and Eastern-Central Sweden area for investments. Björn served as an Investment Manager at Almi Invest AB. Previously, Björn was a Chief of Finance at Almi and has an experience of managing and building a team of consultants. Björn's area of expertise is ICT. Björn has over nine years of experience working with SME financing and strategic development, the last four of which have been spent in the venture capital business field. Prior to joining Almi Invest AB, Björn served as an Investment Manager at Innovationsbron Rendera Såddkapital AB where he focused on early-stage investments. Björn's experiences in the venture capital market include three years at Rendera Såddkapital AB. Björn has gained broad experience of Board committees and also as Chairman in several companies. Björn's holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Linköping Institut of Technology in Sweden (LiTH).
