Amanda Greenwell

UpTech is a non-profit corporation affiliated with Northern Kentucky University and several economic development agencies in the Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati area. Their goal is to attract entrepreneurs throughout the United States and the world who have a big idea. UpTech's investment model is a unique business accelerator program that focuses investment on informatics startups and leverages the key assets of the Northern Kentucky region. UpTech is a five-year program that will boast five rounds, or classes, in each program with approximately 10 startups per year. UpTech I was held in 2012, and the inaugural class opened with eight companies. The firm will initially invest $20,000 for 4% equity, with follow-on investments.
