Bioinnovation

BioInnovation LLC, based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, is an early stage life sciences investment and consulting firm. The firm makes seed investments, acts as institutional co-founders, providing strategic and operational services. BioInnovation, along with two other partners (Cambridge BioLabs and the Cambridge Innovation Center) has launched a novel state-of-the-art shared laboratory space at 700 Main St in Kendall Sq. Named LabCentral, this new concept for entrepreneurs who need lab space is a non-profit funded in part with a grant from the Mass Life Sciences Center and MIT Investment Mgmt Co. Through the firm's affiliate contract research organization, Cambridge Biolabs, BioInnovation provides fully equipped Class II laboratory space. This Class II laboratory is outfitted for standard wet-bench molecular and cell biology, has shared infrastructure and administrative support and is available for approx $5,000/month. BioInnovation invests in a limited number of early stage life science companies per year.
