Sybase was a computer software company that provided enterprise and mobile software products for information management, development and integration. It also specialized in database management, analytics, business intelligence, data warehousing, enterprise mobility and capital markets. The company was founded in 1984 and was headquartered in Dublin, California. It acquired other companies whose businesses would complement its existing operations and also those companies that developed software for the financial services industry.
