Fairbridge Venture Partners is a venture partnership using a different model to invest into early stage companies. The Fairbridge difference is found in the fund structure and in the investment criteria. As principals of significant family offices, the partners have created Fairbridge as a way for other families to invest alongside Fairbridge without the lack of alignment between fund management and investors found in the traditional fund model. Fairbridge targets companies located throughout the United States, which have strong management teams, a differentiated product to offer, and a path to significant scale. Fairbridge invests in seed and early-stage companies which are using technology broadly-defined to bring solutions for real-world problems. Fairbridge targets companies which: Have successfully raised some outside capital, typically from angel investors; Have had their first revenue (generally more than $100,000 in revenue); Have a strong IP position; Have a technology-enabled solution for an existing problem where the customers are already spending money in a way that's sub-optimal; Are business-to-business; and Have recurring revenue models.
