Danville Employees' Retirement System

Danville Employees' Retirement System (ERS) is a single-employer defined benefit public pension fund based in Danville, Virginia. Established in 1946, the purpose of the plan is to provide retirement, disability, and death-in-service benefits to all regular and full-time employees of the City of Danville. The ERS is a non-contributory plan with all contributions paid by the City of Danville. The assets of the pension fund are governed by the board of trustees.
