Cook County Pension Fund (CCPF) is a public pension fund based in Chicago, Illinois. The plan provides retirement, survivor, retiree health and disability benefits to employees and retirees of Cook County and its Forest Preserve District. The pension fund consists of The County Employees' and Officers' Annuity and Benefit Fund of Cook County (Cook County Fund) and the Forest Preserve District Employees' Annuity and Benefit Fund of Cook County (Forest Preserve District Fund), both of which are defined benefit plans created by acts of the Illinois State Legislature. Although created by separate acts, the Cook County Fund and the Forest Preserve District Fund are collectively known as the Cook County Pension Fund. The assets of the pension fund are managed by the retirement board of trustees and are assisted by an investment committee.
