CapitaMalls Asia Ltd. develops, owns, and manages shopping malls in Asia. It also promotes co-brand cards; and manages real estate investment trusts, as well as provide property investment, management, leasing, and consultancy services. In addition, it is involved in the project management and fund management activities; provision of financial and treasury, trust, and investment and consultancy services; and provision of fiduciary and custody services. As of December 31, 2012, the company held interest and managed a pan-Asian portfolio of 101 shopping malls with a total gross floor area of approximately 92.5 million square feet in 52 cities of Singapore, China, Malaysia, Japan, and India. The company operates as a subsidiary of CapitaLand Limited.
