Atlanta Equity is a private equity firm with $109 million of committed capital focused on investments in growth companies primarily in the Southeast. The firm focuses on control investments in middle market companies with revenues between $20 million and $200 million. Targeted industries include business and healthcare services, specialty manufacturing, technology, consumer products and services, and selectively retail. The firm was founded in 2007 by Pete Correll, Gerry Benjamin and David Crosland. Atlanta Equity targets companies with revenues of $20-$200 million; Operating Profits/EBITDA of $5-$20 million; and Transaction Sizes of $25-$150 million. Atlanta Equity is actively investing Atlanta Equity Fund, L.P., a $109 million private equity fund that closed in August 2008.
